How renewals work

We create a renewal invoice 14 days before each service’s due date and email it to you. If you have a saved payment method that supports automatic charges, we’ll try to charge it on the due date. You’ll get reminder emails before the due date and again if the invoice becomes overdue.

Renew a hosting or VPS service

Pay the renewal invoice from Billing → My Invoices. That’s all you need to do; the due date moves forward automatically.

Renew a domain

1

Open domain renewals

Click Domains in the top menu. On the My Domains page, click Renew Domains in the Actions sidebar on the left to renew several domains at once. To renew a single domain, you can instead open that domain’s page (⋯ menu → Manage Domain) and click Renew Domain in its Actions sidebar.
2

Pick the domains and term

Select the domains to renew and how many years.
3

Check out and pay

Complete checkout. The domain is renewed at the registry once payment is confirmed.
Expired domains stop working (website and email) and may enter a redemption period where restoring them costs significantly more. Renew well before the expiry date.

Turn auto-renew on or off for a domain

The Auto Renew column on the My Domains page shows which domains renew automatically.
1

Open the domain

Click Domains in the top menu. On the domain’s row, click the ⋯ menu and choose Manage Domain.Clicking the domain name itself opens your website, not its settings.
2

Change the setting

Open the Auto Renew tab and use the toggle to turn auto-renew on or off.
